Every month I find myself obsessing over fashion magazines, blogs, and websites looking for new ways to amp up my life with, “I can’t live without this” items. Somewhere between my must read list and scarf rolodex, I tend to lose myself. So many new products can be a bit overwhelming, and really through me off from what I really want to add to my wardrobe, kitchen, bookshelf, makeup drawer… you get the idea.
So, what’s a girl to do?
Answer: Lust List.
I’ve been making these since I got my first issue of Teen Vogue when I was a pre-teen. Back then I would cut out my favorite items and glue them to the pages of my N*sync notebook. I loved going through all of the things I wanted and learned how to find and style similar items. Since finding an N*sync notebook is a little harder these days, I’ve opted to posting my lust items to my blog, which happens to much neater and less sticky.
I’ve put together a list of my of my top five lusts for September, to share new items with you, and so I can look at them all at once. Everything is so prettyyyyyy………..
I’m in love with this camera bag from Urban Outfitters. I’m planning on treating myself to a DSLR camera in the near future and am going to need a stylish bag for it, obvi. This one is super trendy while still being functional.
Fall is right around the corner {September 22 to be exact} and with it being so close, all I day dream about are sweaters. I keep going back to this one from Brandy Melville. I love that it’s oversized but can still look neat and put together. Pair this over a collared shirt and skinnies for the perfect Fall outfit!
This Urban Outfitters denim jacket screams, “Wear me, wear me!!” I’m obsessed with the fact that it’s oversized and is such a light wash. It can be paired with a dress and flats for day or some coated leggings and kick-ass boots for night.
While I still LOVE my Dot perfume by Marc Jacobs, I can’t help but spritz Chloé Eau De Parfum on my wrist every time I venture into Sephora. It has awesome staying power {which helps me justify the price} while not being too overbearing. Oh Christmas, can’t you get here any sooner?!?
Look no further, every color you could ever want to polish your nails with this Fall and Winter is here! My heart skips a beat over every single one of the polishes in OPI’s 2013 Fall/Winter San Francisco collection. Being a California native and a huge fan of San Fran was the draw behind my instant love of the line. After I checked it out, I can say my love grew immensely. I’m getting deep people. The names are perfect {my fave is Muir Muir On The Wall} and the colors are even better! I can’t wait to add most, if not all of these to my collection.
